Layaway Policies

60 Day Layaway Plan

Even though this hobby is so wonderful and rewarding, we still have budgets to keep in mind. Miniature Designs understands this dilemma so we have created a layaway program. This way you, our customers can stay on your budgets and still enjoy the wonderful world of miniatures.

Layaway Terms:

• Your credit card will be charged 1/3 of the grand total of your layaway as the initial deposit. In 30 days from the date of the initial layaway we will charge your credit card 1/3 of the grand total of your layaway as your second payment. In 60 days from the date of the initial layaway we will charge your credit card the balance of the grand total of your layaway as your final payment.
• Layaway orders must be a minimum of $50.00 grand total.
• You must place the order online only (if you are purchasing other items that you do not wish to put on layaway you must purchase those separately).
• The layaway must be placed using a credit card only.
• Only one layaway is allowed at a time.
• You can not add or remove items from your layaways (no exceptions).
• All layaways must be paid for within the allotted time (the layaway will be cancelled if we are unable to receive payment-no exceptions).
• There is a 25% restocking fee on all cancelled layaways (your credit card will be credited for all except 25% of your total).
• The following items do not qualify for layaways: Sale or close-out items, all glues, paints, and stains, and all catalogs or books.
