Miniature Designs Annual Room Box Contest
We started this event in 1994 as a way to celebrate in October National Dollhouse & Miniature Month
We have two divisions: Adult and Youth; Everyone starts out with the same room box and can not extend the size of the room box and has two months to finish it. The room boxes are all due the last week of September. Every customer coming in during October gets to vote on the room boxes. The last Saturday in October we have an Open House Celebration and announce the winners for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in both divisions. View now the photos of last year contestant winners!
Classes of the Past
We have had the honor and fortune of many talented artisans starting from our local area as well as all over the United States. Brooke Tucker, Bluette Meloney, Rik Pierce, Bill Lankford, Nancy Summers, Wayne Crosby, Maritta Rucker are some of our instructors from the past. Miniature Designs offers classes for the youth, beginner, intermediate, or advanced miniaturist. Look at some of these classes and fun times we've had!
