Chinese Bed, Gold & Mahogany

Qing Dynasty Day Bed. As signifiers of status, this bed is intricately decorated with auspicious motifs, and embellishments. Decorative fabric would have been draped between the posts of the bed and on top of the wooden canopy, that forms the ceiling is decorated with a wooden cupula. There are 2 bolsters and the bed is available in a mahogany and gold finish.

Size: The bed measures 10 inches high to top of finale. It is 6 1/2 inches high to underside of canopy x 4 3/8 inches wide x 7 1/4 inches long.
