Captains Chair, Walnut

A Firehouse Windsor chair sometimes referred to as a Captains Chair. A Victoria revival of the Philadelphia Windsor 1725.The chair has horseshoe shaped low cresting continuous arms terminating in rounded ends. It is supported by seven simply turned spindles and has a deep I-shaped seat slightly saddled. The legs are ring turned and splayed and they are braced with ring turned stretchers.

The chair measures 2 3/4 inches high x 2 inches wide x 2 inches deep and is available in a walnut finish.
