The overall size of the stair assembly is 2-13/16"W x 5-9/16"L. The door piece is 2" W x 4-3/4"L. This assembly with work with 9" or 10" ceilings. The door, with stairs, is held in the closed position with a small, 1/8" diameter magnet. Except for the magnet and pins, the whole assembly is made entirely of basswood. There are 37 pieces of wood in this assembly. This product is in unfinished basswood making it easy to paint or stain.
