George III Chippendale Breakfront

George III English; Chinese Chippendale; breakfront china cabinet built on a stand. The stand has a serpentine shaped bottom shelf fitted between the spade shaped legs. The long front secretaire drawer has a small recessed drawer on either side. The drawer fronts are decorated with a carved geometric design and the 3 cabinet doors with astral glazing. The pagoda shaped pediment on the tall section of the cabinet is hand carved. The ovolo style pediments on the recessed side cabinets comprise of a three-quarter spindle gallery with flattened ball corner finals.

Size: The cabinet measures 8 1/8 high x 4 inches wide. The cabinet is 1 1/2; inches deep and available in a walnut finish. (20.7 cm high x 10.2 cm wide x 3.6 cm deep)
