The exterior of this custom Thornhill Dollhouse has been stuccoed in beige with white trim and quoins. The windows have all been replaced with majestic mansions by Bespaq that are built with real making them very unique and adding distinctive beauty to this house. Cedar shakes were installed one by one, stained and polyurethane. Two Lawbre chimney's were faux painted and installed. This house is also totally enclosed, yet every room is accessible which is wonderful for keeping the dust out. The landscaped platform as well as the electrified table with storage is included.
Interior of this 14 room dollhouse is even more breathtaking than the exterior! The dollhouse was round wired and all the lighting fixture installed are made by artisans such as Phyllis Tucker, Rosel's, Lighting Bug, Getzan Lighting, Clarebell lights, and Ray Storey. The total value of fixtures installed that will are included with the house is over $2495.00. Most ceiling medallions have been used with these beautiful lights and in the authentic English kitchen there are wonderful ceiling beams and custom made pot rack with lighting installed in the rack by J Getzan. All wallpaper is from Susan Bembridge from England and Les Chinioseries from Spain. There are three fireplaces included with the dollhouse. Two are custom made by Lawbre with working coals and one is handmade by late, Roger Gutheil, also with working coals priced over $575.00. All crown molding, window toppers, panels, and baseboards are made by Lawbre, Sue Cooks, and Unique Miniatures. The customized 1st and 2nd floor black and white stairs just complete that beautiful entry way matching the black and white diamond pattern marble floor from Stacey's Mini Brick of England. The necessary room floor has a real white marble floor and the kitchen has a variegated stone floor also from Stacey's Mini Brick. The rest of the floors are authentic natural walnut hardwood laid strip by strip and polyurethane. Lastly, all the incredible drapes were custom made to match wallpapers and decor by Marcia McClain valued over $1500.
